The design

The Caramel Rug

There is a specific shade of warmth that only caramel achieves — richer than beige, softer than brown, more inviting than gold. This rug bathes your floor in exactly that tone, with a heritage centre-medallion pattern that has the quiet grandeur of a Jaipur palace carpet scaled for a modern Indian living room.

Starting at 6×9 ft, the Caramel is built for large, important rooms. The centred composition draws the eye inward and holds it there — creating a visual anchor that makes even the most open-plan space feel considered and complete.

Handcrafted in Bhadohi from Pure New Zealand Wool. The caramel tones are achieved through natural dye processes that give the colour a warmth and depth that synthetic dyes cannot replicate — the kind of richness that photographs well but looks even better in person.

Pure New Zealand wool, hand-spun and dyed in small batches, with stain-repellent treatment. Vacuum gently without a beater bar; blot spills immediately with a dry cloth and use professional cleaning for deep care.
