The Bunraaz Rug

Bunraaz — a word rooted in festivity and celebration. This rug brings that warmth to a room without needing to shout. Its traditional pattern carries the visual DNA of ceremonial Indian textiles — the kind of weaving that was once reserved for royal courts and temple floors.

Handwoven in Bhadohi from Pure New Zealand Wool on traditional looms. The hand-loom process means the pattern has micro-variations — tiny imperfections that are not flaws, but signatures of human craft.

Pure New Zealand wool, hand-spun and dyed in small batches, with stain-repellent treatment. Vacuum gently without a beater bar; blot spills immediately with a dry cloth and use professional cleaning for deep care.

Every RUGKARI rug is made to order by our Bhadohi atelier and dispatched in about 10 days. Shipping is free and insured across India, with doorstep delivery, order tracking and a GST invoice on every order.
