The Bowrai Rug

Named after the hill stations where cool mornings begin with wool shawls and warm chai, the Bowrai brings that same cocooning comfort to your floor. Its heritage pattern — drawn from centuries of Indian textile tradition — feels at home in spaces where slow living is not a trend, but a choice.

This is a rug for the reader's corner, the grandmother's sitting room, the verandah that gets the best winter sun. Understated, warm, and impossible to tire of — the Bowrai ages the way good design always does: gracefully.

Handcrafted in Bhadohi from Pure New Zealand Wool. The natural fibre breathes with the seasons — regulating warmth in winter and staying cool in the fierce Indian summer.

Pure New Zealand wool, hand-spun and dyed in small batches, with stain-repellent treatment. Vacuum gently without a beater bar; blot spills immediately with a dry cloth and use professional cleaning for deep care.
