The design

The Adam Rug

Walk into a room with the Adam rug and your eye does something it rarely does — it rests. The geometric pattern has a cadence to it, a visual beat that organises the space around it without demanding attention. It is the architectural equivalent of a well-tailored jacket: structured, confident, and effortlessly composed.

Hand-loomed on traditional Bhadohi looms where the weaver controls every thread pass. The geometric repeat draws from modernist grid design — but rendered in wool, it softens into something warmer, more inviting than any hard-edged graphic could be.

Pure New Zealand Wool, handwoven with the kind of textural irregularity that proves human hands were involved. This is not a printed pattern on fibres — this is colour woven into the structure itself.

Pure New Zealand wool, hand-spun and dyed in small batches, with stain-repellent treatment. Vacuum gently without a beater bar; blot spills immediately with a dry cloth and use professional cleaning for deep care.

Made-to-order & delivery

Every RUGKARI rug is made to order by our Bhadohi atelier and dispatched in about 10 days. Shipping is free and insured across India, with doorstep delivery, order tracking and a GST invoice on every order.
