The design

The Acre Rug

Picture a drawing room where every surface has been considered — the teak credenza, the brass lamps, the linen curtains — and now imagine the floor finally catching up. The Acre is that missing piece: a traditional rug with enough visual weight to hold a large room together without overwhelming it.

The pattern draws from the geometry of cultivated land seen from above — ordered, purposeful, and deeply satisfying. It is heritage design with the restraint of modern taste.

Handcrafted in Bhadohi using Pure New Zealand Wool. The natural lanolin in the fibre gives it a subtle lustre that synthetic rugs simply cannot replicate — a warmth you see before you even touch it.

Pure New Zealand wool, hand-spun and dyed in small batches, with stain-repellent treatment. Vacuum gently without a beater bar; blot spills immediately with a dry cloth and use professional cleaning for deep care.

Every RUGKARI rug is made to order by our Bhadohi atelier and dispatched in about 10 days. Shipping is free and insured across India, with doorstep delivery, order tracking and a GST invoice on every order.
