- Material: premium natural fibres — wool, cotton, silk — are selected.
- Dyeing: yarns are dyed in controlled batches for rich, colourfast tones.
- Knotting: artisans tie every knot by hand on a loom — 100 to 500 per square foot.
- Washing: the rug is washed to soften the pile and bring out the colour.
- Finishing: edges are hand-bound, the pile is clipped even, and the rug is inspected.
